Redbird Giving band was established in 1994 by Nanette Bradley Deetz, poet and musician, as a tribute to her mother, her daughter, and her family in graditude for the years of music, poetry, dance, theater and visual arts Ms. Bradley Deetz enjoys. 

    Redbird Giving was established in the traditional Tsalagi (Cherokee) way, in order to bring words of strength and support to the People in times of great struggle.
